Video consultations: the extension is required
The Noteless extension is required when using Noteless for video consultations.
A computer cannot record the audio it is playing itself. This means that if you only use the Noteless web app, your microphone will capture your voice, but the patient's voice coming through your computer will not be recorded.
The Noteless extension allows Noteless to capture audio from both participants, ensuring that the entire consultation is transcribed.
⚠️ Important: The extension only works in a web browser. If your video platform, such as Teams or Zoom, asks whether you want to open the meeting in the desktop application or your browser, select the browser option to use the Noteless extension.
Integration with EHR systems
If you use a browser-based EHR system, the extension can make your workflow even more efficient.
Once your note has been generated, you can transfer it directly into your EHR without switching between multiple tabs or windows. This saves time and simplifies documentation.
The extension also includes an Autofill feature, which allows you to transfer your notes even faster. You can:
