Before you begin
You will need:
Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser
A Noteless account
Microphone access enabled in your browser
1. Install Noteless Web Extension
Go to the Chrome Web Store.
Search for Noteless.
Open the extension called Noteless.
Click Add to Chrome.
Confirm that you want to add the extension.
Once installed, you will find the Noteless icon in the top-right corner of your browser.
2. Pin Noteless to your browser
For easier access, you can pin the Noteless icon to your browser toolbar:
Click the puzzle piece icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Find Noteless in the list.
Click the pin icon next to Noteless.
The Noteless icon will now always be visible in your browser toolbar.
3. Open Noteless Web Extension
The first time you open Noteless Web Extension after installing it, you must refresh any pages that were already open before the installation. This allows the page to load the software you have just installed.
Click the Noteless icon in the top-right corner of your browser.
A Noteless window will open on the right-hand side of your screen. It can be accessed from any browser page and allows you to use the main Noteless features without leaving your EHR or other system.
You can choose between:
Consultation – for patient consultations when you want to generate a clinical note
Dictation – for free-text entry or voice dictation
