Creating a template
Under Mine, click Create New.
Choose how to start:
Upload an example — use a file you already have
Build from scratch.
(This guide uses Build from scratch.) Click Build from Scratch.
Give the template a name. A descriptive name (e.g. Follow-Up Note) helps the system produce a better result.
Add your sections. Quick-add Subjective, Objective, and Plan, and add any others you use (e.g. Summary). Reorder them as needed — for example, move Summary to the top.
Click Next.
Answer the formatting questions:
How sections should be formatted (e.g. Paragraphs).
How detailed the notes should be.
Here you can also set formatting per section — e.g. make Plan concise bullet points.
Click Next.
Add any extra instructions (optional) — e.g. "always refer to the patient as Pt." or "never use gender in the notes."
Click Next. Noteless builds the template for you. This takes about 10–20 seconds.
Using your template
When you start a consultation, select the template you want to generate with.
To set a default, go to Settings → Notes and select your default template. This will then be the default choice every time you create a new consultation.
