In short:

The Library in Noteless is where you create and customize templates (layouts for how notes are generated), phrases, and instructions (writing rules Noteless should follow). With custom templates, you decide the structure (sections such as Complaint, Findings, Assessment, Plan), level of detail, style (paragraph/bullet list), and your own guidelines.

Where to find it

Go to Settings → Library → Templates.

How templates work

Choose a default template (e.g., SOAP) or create your own.

A template can have:

  • Title and description (for recognition)

  • Instructions (e.g., “Use pronouns – don’t write ‘the patient’”)

  • Sections with style (bullet list/paragraph) and detail level (normal/high)

Noteless shows a preview (sample note) as you make changes. This can take 5–15 seconds depending on text size.

Sharing and ownership

In this version, new templates are private to you.
