In the Library (found in the left-hand menu), your phrases are displayed at the top. Click the β+β icon to create a new phrase. You will then see three text fields where you can define a title, a verbal trigger, and the phrase content.
1. Give the phrase a title
Give the phrase a descriptive and easily recognizable title. The title helps you organize your phrases but has no additional functionality.
To activate the phrase during a consultation, you must add a verbal trigger.
2. Choose whether to use a verbal trigger
A verbal trigger consists of simple words or phrases that you can say out loud during or after a consultation to automatically insert the predefined text into the note. Avoid complex words or expressions that may be transcribed incorrectly, and make sure the trigger is unique and clearly distinguishable from everyday speech.
To ensure accurate transcription, you can test the trigger word by dictating it using the dictation feature.
The verbal trigger can be turned off by clicking the blue toggle switch so that it turns gray. When the trigger is disabled, the predefined text will not be added automatically to the note even if the verbal trigger is spoken during a consultation. The predefined text will still be available in the Verbal trigger list and can be added manually to a note or dictation (see section 4).
3. Add content to the Verbal Trigger
The Verbal trigger content is the text that will be inserted into the note when the verbal trigger is activated or when the phrase is added manually. This can include a set of standard examinations, various parameters that Noteless can populate for you, or any other pre-written text. Only your imagination sets the limits!
4. Save and use the Verbal Trigger
Once you have entered the desired content, the phrase is saved automatically β but only after all required text fields are completed. When saved, the phrase will automatically activate during your next consultation if the verbal trigger is spoken.
You can also insert phrases manually when using the dictation feature or directly in the generated note by clicking the phrase icon in the text menu.
