๐Ÿ“ž Using Noteless during video and phone consultations

You can absolutely use Noteless during video and phone consultations, but there are a few important things to know to ensure the system captures the audio correctly.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ How it works

For Noteless to transcribe the conversation, the microphone needs to pick up both your voice and the patient's. This means the audio must be played through a speaker โ€“ not headphones โ€“ so Noteless can hear everything that's being said.
Unfortunately, itโ€™s not possible to transfer audio directly from headphones to Noteless.

โœ… Recommended setup

For the best possible result, we recommend the following:

Use two separate devices for audio in and out:

  • ๐Ÿ”Š A speaker (e.g. from your computer or an external speaker) that plays the patientโ€™s voice.

  • ๐ŸŽค A microphone that captures both you and the patient

๐Ÿ“ฑ Alternative solution: Use your phone

You can also use your mobile phone as a solution:

  1. Log into Noteless via the browser on your phone.

  2. Position the phone so it can โ€œhearโ€ both you and the patient.

  3. When you log back in on your computer, your notes will be available in Noteless. From there, you can easily edit them and transfer them to the patient record.
