At Noteless, we understand the importance of protecting both your and your patients’ security and privacy. That’s why we do not store any audio recordings and do not use patient data to train our models or for any other purposes.
Real-Time Transcription
Audio from the consultation is transcribed in real time using a GDPR-compliant speech-to-text API. For real-time processing, audio snippets are handled continuously in short-term memory, and no audio data is stored. At no point does a complete recording of the consultation exist. Only individual audio snippets are processed and immediately discarded. All data processed by Noteless is encrypted for protection.
Your Data
Neither Noteless nor any third parties use your data to train models or for any other purposes. All information that is processed is accessible only to you. In other words, no Noteless employees or other involved data processors have access. To ensure the highest level of security, all data processing takes place within the EU, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Automatic Data Deletion
Only you have access to your transcriptions and anonymized notes via your platform profile. This allows you to review and finalize the notes before transferring them to your medical record system. All transcriptions and notes are automatically and permanently deleted after 24 hours. You also have the option to delete them manually before this time.

Noteless prioritizes patient safety. That’s why we have developed materials to help you inform your patients about Noteless, so they can understand the technology and feel confident that their health data is handled responsibly. This includes a print-friendly information sheet and a slideshow for display on screen, both of which can be shown in the clinic’s waiting room.
