When you upload a document to Noteless, it is important to be aware of what content the file contains.

Sensitive information

You must always censor or remove sensitive information before uploading. Noteless must not be used to upload documents that contain information you are not allowed to share, such as personally identifiable information or other confidential content.

How is the document used?

The content of the document is used only to respond to your requests.

For example:

  • If you ask Noteless to summarize a long document, it will read through the file and provide you with a summary.

  • If you ask for help reformulating or structuring text, the document’s content is used as the basis for the response.

Noteless does not make any independent use of the document beyond what you explicitly ask for.

Deleting documents

Documents are always linked to the note they were uploaded to.

  • When you delete the note, the uploaded file is also permanently deleted.

  • If you accidentally uploaded the wrong file, you can easily fix this by clicking “Delete note”. Both the note and the document will then be removed.

In short

  • Do not upload documents containing sensitive or unlawfully shareable information

  • Documents are used only to answer your questions

  • Deleting the note also permanently deletes the file

This gives you full control over the content you share in Noteless.
